After the dismal pass percentage in class 10 and class 12 board exams in recent years, the Bihar board has come up with some revisions for the betterment of the students. Now, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has decided to give students more options to choose from in order to answer long-form subjective questions. The new paper pattern will come into effect from the BSEB board exams 2019. The state board had already introduced 50 percent objective questions from 2018 onwards withdrawing the earlier format. Up till 2017, class 12 board exams had 40 percent multiple choice questions, whereas class 10 students had no objective questions. Anand Kishore, the BSEB chairperson, told The Indian Express, “With the change in examination pattern, we are not just aiming at improving pass percentage, but also an increase in marks so that our students can get admission to good institutions in and outside Bihar.” According to the recent change in the paper pattern, the students will now have to choose five out of 15 subjective questions in a paper. BSEB Board Exam 2019: Model Papers for Class 12 Students Released Online; Check List of Subjects for Intermediate Sample Papers. 

BSEB had recently released the model test papers along with the board exam 2019 timetable. The board had issued the practise papers for a few subjects of class 10 and class 12, and the remaining subjects will be published soon. The students are advised to keep a close eye to the BSEB official website to know the recent updates.
