'Romeo and Juliet' Stars Olivia Hussey, Leonard Whiting Sue Paramount For Their Nude Scene in 1968 Film Alleging Child Abuse
Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting were promised that the 1968 film wouldn't contain any nudity, yet it all changed at the time of shooting that saw the actors be aged 15 and 16 respectively.
Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting, stars of the 1968 Romeo and Juliet, are ready to go to court as the duo sue film studio Paramount for child abuse. Claiming that they were sexually exploited by the studio over a nude scene in the film, Hussey was 15 while Whiting was 16 at the time of filming.
