A passenger on the Vande Bharat train from Shirdi to Mumbai discovered a live cockroach in the dal served during the journey. The incident, which occurred on August 19, was captured in photos and videos by fellow travellers, who questioned the authorities about the hygiene standards. The passenger filed a formal complaint mentioning the cockroach in the dal, sour curd, and the overall meal quality. As per the passenger, the complaint was acknowledged by IRCTC managers Narendra Mishra and Alok Singh, who confirmed the issue.
