After the main event of Monday Night RAW, the World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) fans experienced an unprecedented reunion of The Shield. Going by the current storylines in WWE’s flagship show, it was in no manner evident that Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose would unite, so early, after The Lunatic Fringe’s comeback.

The main-event of the latest Monday Night RAW episode saw Reigns defend his WWE Universal Championship title against Finn Balor. The gruelling bout saw Braun Strowman walking down the stage after Reigns successfully defended it.

Just as when Strowman cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, the titantron showed Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins enter in their typical ‘Sheild’ wrestling gears. What happened next is for you to see.

Here’s what happened at Monday Night Raw, on August 20, 2018:

It was a night to remember for WWE Universe to see the three of the most polarising figures in WWE reform their tag-team faction. So what went into the formation of The Shield 3.0?

Here's how The Shield Celebrated as Monday Night RAW went off-air:

A night before, The Big Dog defeated Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, WWE’s biggest pay-per-view after Wrestlemania, to win the Universal Championship. The match also saw interference from the Monster Among Men in the ending moments. However, after much ado, it was Reigns who reigned supreme in the match.

After his unsuccessful quest at SummerSlam, Strowman warned the superstar before his title match on the show that he will be cashing in his contract, no matter who wins or loses. However, he failed on Monday too, as The Shield hit their finishing move ‘Triple Powerbomb’ on Strowman, through the announce table.

Does the following incident inidicate that The Shield members turned heel? Or was it an one-off gimmick before the WWE's Super Show-Down event in Australia? Well, fans will have to wait till the next episode of Monday Night Raw to see how The Hounds of Justice, justify their actions!
