Palghar, Feb 24 (PTI) A fire gutted a fodder heap on Friday in Saphale in Maharashtra's Palghar district, an official said.

The blaze broke out on an open plot in Tandulwadi and destroyed more than one thousand bales of fodder before it was extinguished by firefighters, he said.

The cause of the fire is being probed, he added.
