The newly examination conducting body, National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the exam date and shift details for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains 2019. All the candidates appearing in the entrance exam can check the schedule available on the official websites; jeemain.ac.in, nta.ac.in. However, the sheet regarding the exam city allotment would only be released on October 21. NTA will conduct JEE Main 2019 from January 6 to January 20. In addition, the agency has also opened the window for the application correction process. For January’s exam, the admit cards will be issued to students from December 17, 2018. NTA has tentatively decided the declaration JEE Mains 2019, and it is expected to be out on January 31. This time, the entrance exams will be held over many days and students will have the option to choose a date. On the other hand, to make the necessary changes, the aspirants will have to log in to the website by using their application or reference number and password. As per NTA’s earlier notice, Paper 1 of JEE Main 2019 will be held in two shifts. The first shift is from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift is from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Aadhaar Number Not Mandatory for UGC NET, JEE Main 2019 Application Form, Clarifies NTA. 

To appear in JEE Mains or Advanced, a candidate under general category will have to score at least 75 per cent in class 12 board exams, and for candidates under the reserved category, a minimum of 65 per cent score is required. Those who surpass the JEE Mains and Advanced papers, will be able to secure a seat to Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) courses at Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) across India.
