Shah arrived in the holy city on Saturday and attended the ‘Ganga Aarti’ along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and saw a drone show presentation that showed the development projects completed in Kashi over the last ten years. Shah also reviewed the preparations for PM Narendra Modi's roadshow, which is scheduled to take place in Varanasi on May 13, the day he will file his nomination for Lok Sabha Elections 2024, after attending the Ganga Aarti.
