Happy Students’ Day 2023! Every year on November 7, Students’ Day or Vidyarthi Divas is observed in the Indian state of Maharashtra, commemorating the school entry day of Dr BR Ambedkar in 1900. BR Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, is one of the most notable figures in the country's history. A jurist, economist, social reformer and political leader, Babasaheb was the man who headed the committee drafting the Constitution of India. Despite all his accomplishments, he considered himself a lifelong student. This is why one of his life’s important milestones, going to school, was chosen as a day to celebrate students.
