Indore, Apr 1 (PTI) A 28-year-old woman gynecologist working with a government hospital here tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday, an official said.

District Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr Praveen Jadia said the woman worked with the government-run Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital in the city.

She was admitted to a private hospital after her test results came, he said.

Twenty people including other doctors who had come in contact with her have been identified and put under quarantine, he added.

The woman had returned here after meeting her husband in Lucknow some days ago, and now the husband too has been quarantined in Lucknow, Dr Jadia said.

As many as 63 persons have tested positive for the virus in Indore so far.
