North India continued to reel under severe cold wave conditions with the minimum temperatures settling to 4.5 degree Celsius in several parts. Parts of Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh have been recording cold and severe cold day conditions because chilly northwesterly winds, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
