In a strange incident, a monk walked into a bank in Tamil Nadu’s Thiruvarur with a gun and threatened to loot it after being refused a loan. As per the reports, the monk was seeking a loan for his daughter's higher studies abroad. When the bank staff rejected his application, he went home, picked up a gun, and returned to the bank. He also threatened to loot the bank if he is not given a loan.
