Gemini has arrived in Google Docs to offer AI-powered assistance. Google Gemini in Docs will provide answers and writing suggestions based on sources linked within the document. Google shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) on November 7, and said, "Gemini in @googledocs provides answers and writing suggestions based on the sources linked in your Doc. So you get answers that are grounded in the decks, reports, and spreadsheets you trust - all without ever leaving your Doc." To use Gemini, PC users can open a document in Google Docs and click “Ask Gemini” at the top right corner. In the side panel, users can either choose one of the suggested prompts or enter their own prompt. On Android or iOS devices, the feature appears at the bottom panel after tapping the same option.
