The wait is over as BCCI have officially announced the schedule of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. The tournament opener will be played between last year finalists Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI).  The finals of the mega tournament will be played on May 27, 2020. For the first time in IPL history, there will be only six double-headers but this tournament will run for 57 days-the longest in the history of the showpiece event. Instead of having a grand opening ceremony, an all-stars match will be played where players of all the franchises will tussle in a friendly game.
