The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is all set to launch the Indian Navy’s heaviest and most advanced communication satellite, GSAT-7R (CMS-03), from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota today, November 2. Weighing around 4,400 Kg, the indigenously designed satellite marks a major boost to India’s defence communication network. GSAT-7R will enhance the Navy’s space-based communications, surveillance, and maritime domain awareness across the Indian Ocean region, reported ANI. Equipped with advanced indigenous technologies, it ensures secure and high-capacity data links for naval operations.
