The new year of the Kutchi community begins on July 1 on the auspicious day of Ashadhi Bij. Union Home Minister Amit Shah Friday took to Twitter to extend wishes on the Kutchi new year. Shah wrote, "I would like to send unripe seeds and Kutchi New Year greetings to all the yeasty Kutchi brothers and sisters living all over the world."
