Manchester City Player Benjamin Mendy Accused of Rape ‘Lasted 20 Seconds’ After Telling Woman He Was ‘Small Down There’
In August 2021, Manchester City suspended Mendy after he was charged with sexual offences. In May 2022, he pleaded not guilty to charges of rape, sexual assault and one of attempted rape.
Manchester City left-back, 28-year-old French footballer Benjamin Mendy presented before Chester Crown Court on count of sexual assaults. The court heard the Man City defender ‘lasted for 20 seconds’ after telling a woman he was ‘small’ down there. In August 2021, Manchester City suspended Mendy after he was charged with sexual offences. In May 2022, he pleaded not guilty to charges of rape, sexual assault and one of attempted rape.
