IND-W Win By 88 Runs | India vs Pakistan ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 Highlights: Bowlers Shine as Women in Blue Continue Winning Start

India have beaten Pakistan by 88 runs! What a win this has been and although India could have been better in several areas, they would be delighted with their bowling effort. Two wins in two matches for India in ICC Women's World Cup 2025 and the Women in Blue are now 12-0 against Pakistan in women's ODIs! Asked to bat first, India got off to a good start through Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal but both departed without converting their starts. Harleen Deol scored 46 runs but once again, could not make it a big one. Jemimah Rodrigues (32), Deepti Sharma (25) and Sneh Rana (20) did contribute but India would have wanted to do much better with the bat in hand. For Pakistan, Diana Baig was the best bowler with four wickets for 69 runs. It was Richa Ghosh's 20-ball 35 which took India close to 247. In response, Pakistan got off to a poor start and kept losing wickets before a 69-run partnership between Sidra Amin and Natalia Pervaiz. When that partnership was broken, India ran through the remainder of the batting order. Sidra Amin scored 81 but apart from her and Natalia Pervaiz (33), no one made much of an impact. For India, Kranti Gaud (3/20), Deepti Sharma (3/45) and Sneh Rana (2/38) were the wicket-takers for India. It is two losses in two matches for Pakistan and they need to put up an improved show against Australia in their next match on October 8. OUT! Sneh Rana has struck and taken the big wicket of Sidra Amin! This is the wicket that India would have hoped for, for a long time and it almost seals the outcome of the match! OUT! Sneh Rana has picked up her first wicket and it is that of Sidra Nawaz! The right-hander took the ball on the full and smashed it straight to Sneh Rana who took a good catch off her own bowling. The Indian bowlers continue to pile pressure on Pakistan here. Pakistan need 124 runs in 15 overs and the required run rate is above 8 at this stage. Sidra Amin, who has been out in the middle for quite some time, will hold the key for Pakistan while India hunt for more wickets. 

FIFTY! Sidra Amin has a half-century to her name and she is the first batter to get to the mark in this game. It has taken her 82 balls to get to fifty and now all of Pakistan's hopes rest on her if they are to get over the line. 

OUT! One wicket brings two and Deepti Sharma has struck, removing Fatima Sana! The Pakistan captain looked to go big down the ground but did not make the desired connection with Smriti Mandhana taking the catch. India are putting more pressure on Pakistan with these wickets. Pakistan are 101/4 and have Fatima Sana and Sidra Amin at the crease. India are well on top here with Pakistan's required run rate slowly touching the 8-run mark. Another wicket will put Pakistan under deep trouble but they will hope that the Fatima Sana-Sidra Amin stand can come good. 

OUT! India have got the wicket that they needed as Kranti Gaud dismisses Natalia Pervaiz! The right-hander miscued her shot and Radha Yadav, on the field as a substitute, took the catch to complete the dismissal.
