A 20-year-old Virginia man had unknowingly carried a small snake in his bag when he flew from Florida to Hawaii. He only realised there was a snake in his bag when it emerged at the vacation property he was waiting at. It was a non-venomous snake measuring about a foot (0.3 meters) long.
