India's failure in shooting continued on the fourth day but there were positive results in boxing from Lovlina Borghoain and men's hockey. The pair of Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty bowed out despite winning their badminton doubles' match and so did paddler Sharath Kamal, who exited the third round of the men's singles table tennis event.
