After Twitter services stopped working for many users, reports suggested that the services took a hit due to a major outage, its first such outage since February. Immediately after #TwitterDown started to trend on Twitter, the microblogging site's support team in a tweet said, "Some of you are having issues accessing Twitter and we’re working to get it back up and running for everyone."
