Spider-Man: Far From Home: Is Zendaya’s Insta Post Hinting Her Becoming This Popular Spidey Character?

When Zendaya was included in the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming, fans speculated that she is playing Spidey's iconic love interest, Mary Jane Watson. Marvel executives denied this rumour, insisting that she is playing a character called Michelle. Even Homecoming played with this till the very end, when Michelle tells her peers (and the audience) that her 'friends' call her MJ! Still, it was not confirmed that Zendaya would be Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of Mary Jane. Spider-Man Far From Home Star Tom Holland Almost Caught on Fire During Man About Town Photo Shoot.

The trailers of Homecoming sequel, Spider-Man: Far From Home, confirmed one thing though- Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is looking for a romantic relationship with Michelle aka MJ, and that she has deduced his secret identity. With so many hints at establishing Michelle as Mary Jane, Zendaya has now added more fuel into the fire of speculations with her Instagram posts.

As you can see, Zendaya's hair has a hue of red, and also straightened. Fans are now speculating if she is finally giving in to the rumours of being Mary Jane, who is known for her straight, red hair.

So will Far From Home finally have Michelle rechristen herself as Mary Jane Watson? With the loss of Tony Stark as a mentor, as seen in Avengers: EndGame, Peter Parker definitely needs some love in his life and his new romance could do him some good. That is, unless Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) is not hellbent on ruining his personal life with more Avengers missions.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled to release in India on July 2. Directed by Jon Watts, it deals with Spider-Man dealing with a world post-EndGame and going on a study vacation with his friends in Europe, where he deals with new threats. The movie also stars Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, JB Smoove, Cobie Smulders, Angourie Rice and Remy Hii.
