Are There Any Benefits of Swallowing Semen?
There’s no right or wrong in intimate relationships, as long as it’s done consensually. But not too many women would want to willingly swallow their partners’ semen no matter how much it pleases the men. To be fair to the ladies, men, semen doesn’t look very appetising.
That being said, semen isn’t all that bad either. Despite how it looks, there’s more to semen than what meets the eye (or the mouth).

- lactic acid

- vitamin C
- citric acid
- ascorbic acid
- uric acid
- 200 types of proteins

That’s right. Semen can send those blues packing according to numerous scientific claims. Semen has certain anti-depressive chemicals such as endorphins, oxytocin, progesterone, serotonin, prolactin, etc. which can put you in a good mood.Another study on 293 women showed that women who didn’t use condoms during sex were less depressed than those who did. Coincidence? We think not!
3. Improves Sleep
If you want to sleep peacefully, swallow. That’s because semen contains the chemical melatonin, the hormone that regulates sleep in mammals. So by that virtue, ingesting semen can theoretically help you sleep better. But sex does that for you too.
4. Boosts Immune System
Melatonin also helps the immune system function better. So by semen could also serve as an excellent immune booster. The latest study also mentions how swallowing semen can improve immune functions of pregnant women.

A study by the University of Santa Barbara, California shows that swallowing semen could offer protection from breast cancer. A survey of 15,000 women who consumed their partners’ semen at least twice a week had their breast cancer risk reduced from 10.4 percent to 1.9 percent. Argininosuccinate Chrysotrophin, an enzyme in semen, is said to have anti-cancer properties.
So here are all the science-backed benefits of swallowing semen. But ladies, beware. Swallowing semen may not be advisable at all times, and some of the risks may outweigh the benefits.
