Xiaomi Poco F2 Flagship Smartphone Listed on Geekbench; To Sport Snapdragon 845 Soc & Android Pie OS

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the launch of Poco F1 successor, which will be company's forthcoming affordable flagship model. Recently, the smartphone was confirmed by Poco General Manager C Manmohan, which clearly give hints that the phone has been in the pipeline. Giving some clear indications of its existence, the smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench revealing the key specifications. As per the Geekbench results, it is believed Xiaomi will be launching the new Poco F2 with Snapdragon 845 SoC. Spotted by Nashville Chatter initially, the new Poco F2 will run on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. Xiaomi Poco F1 was launched in India at Rs 19,999, but now the company has dropped the prices by Rs 1000. The smartphone takes on the rivals such as Asus Zenfone 5z, OnePlus 6T and Samsung Galaxy A9.

However, there is no official confirmation from the company yet. Some reports also claim that the Chinese smartphone maker will be looking to introduce Snapdragon 855 SoC, as the fact Poco F1 comes powered by Qualcomm's flagship chipset - Snapdragon 845. Additionally, the smartphone will also be seen in the 6GB RAM version, as per the Geekbench listing. Xiaomi will also be looking to introduce Poco F1's successor in an 8GB RAM version. The listing on benchmark also underlined that Poco F2 having a single-core score of 2321 and multi-core score 7,564. Apart from two RAM versions, Xiaomi Poco F2 is likely to be offered in three storage options - 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. It is also speculated that the battery capacity of the smartphone could be around 4000 mAh or 4250 mAh along with Quick Charge 3.0 support. As Poco F1 is currently retailing in India at Rs 19,999, we can expected Poco F2 slightly premium over the predecessor.
