Maisie first started working on the show as a 13-year-old and recalls getting affected by criticism at that point. With the increasing usage of social media, it is now easy to diss actors and content and that took a toll on Maisie quite soon.
The 22-year-old actress told CNN, "I still lie in bed at, like, 11 o'clock at night telling myself all the things I hate about myself. It's just really terrifying that you're ever going to slip back into it. That's still something that I'm really working on, because I think that's really hard. It's really hard to feel sad and not feel completely defeated by it." Willaims shot to fame at a very young age after playing the fan favourite character of Arya Stark.
