Seems like the collections in Canada of Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy will be affected after the recent act of violence in the city of Ontario. No, this isn't city-wide violence of the residents against the government or a protest of some sorts but it's, in fact, a specifically targeted incident. A Canadian distributor of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy took to his Twitter account to share details of this act of violence and how a certain individual is creating a ruckus. Joaquin Phoenix's Joker Beats War And Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy In Chennai On Day 1.

As per his tweet, a male suspect entered a multiplex in Ontario and pulled a knife to cut the movie screen. He later used a beer spray on audiences and though no one was harmed, police authorities for obvious reasons aren't willing to risk this further. Incidentally, the same pattern of creating a menace was followed for one more time, post which a detective wrote for the distributor asking him to name the others who have the right to screen this movie. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy Craze Lands Andhra Policemen in Trouble, Seven Sub-Inspectors Suspended for Watching The Chiranjeevi Film While on Duty.

This is clearly a planned act and its after-effects will be felt by the distributors and the producers of the movie. While Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is performing well at the Indian box office, its international collections will be slightly affected post this enquiry. Another major thing to note is the collection of future or at least immediate South releases including Vijay's Bigil will suffer in this territory.
