How Coconut Oil Helps in Weight Loss

As coconut oil is high in medium-chain triglycerides fatty acids it boosts metabolism. Medium-chain fatty acids are metabolised differently as compared to longer chain fatty acid. MCT are directly sent to the liver from the digestive tract where they are directly used for the energy or turned into ketone bodies.
